🏦 Trade Center

Trade any asset β€” crypto, stocks, gold, cash, vehicles, real estate, businesses, collectibles β€” directly from your trust. One pipeline, zero loss, mostly free. AEON is the venue and toolkit, never a party to your trade.

⚑ Exchange instantly β€” legally, from your own wallet

The legal key: AEON is non-custodial. You exchange directly from your own wallet or trust β€” AEON never holds, touches, or moves your funds or assets. That's why no money-transmitter / exchange / broker-dealer license is required, and why you stay in control at every instant.

πŸ” Swap crypto in seconds β€” one click, non-custodial

These venues settle in your own wallet via a smart contract or cross-chain protocol. AEON simply routes you there β€” it never touches the funds.

πŸ” THORChain β€” cross-chain πŸ”„ 1inch β€” best-rate EVM πŸ¦„ Uniswap β€” ETH/ERC-20

Bitcoin: use your wallet's Lightning or on-chain swap, or the atomic-swap tool below. For a signed trust-to-trust contract with verification, use the pipeline below.

⏱️ How fast does each asset actually settle?

⚑ Seconds

Crypto (atomic / DEX swap), cash (same-bank wire).

πŸ• Same day

Vehicle (DMV sign-over), gold (depository ledger), stocks (DTC).

πŸ“… Days

Real estate (county recorder), business interests (assignment + filing).

The agreement is always instant (sign the contract in seconds). Titled/physical assets then settle at registry speed β€” that's the law, not an AEON limitation. The escrow/simultaneous guarantee means nothing is lost during the wait.

πŸ›€οΈ The pipeline β€” six stages, nothing is skipped

Every trade β€” every asset, every size β€” flows through the same six stages. Each stage protects you, and none of them cost AEON anything to run.

1Fund your trust
2Verify the asset
3List the trade
4Match
5Sign contract
6Settle & complete
1

Fund your trust. Move the asset into your trust's name first β€” a free Trust Funding Assignment adds it to your existing trust (never a second $500 trust). β†’ Fund the Trust

2

Verify the asset. Prove it's real, yours, and unencumbered. Crypto is checked on-chain automatically; everything else is confirmed with the issuer (broker / depository / county / DMV). β†’ Verify Assets

3

List the trade. Say what you have and what you want. No price-setting advice β€” just the match.

4

Match. Find a counterparty whose "want" is your "have". Both sides see each other's verification status before committing.

5

Sign the contract. A bilateral Trust Exchange Agreement with escrow/simultaneous-settlement, cash-boot, and the AEON-not-a-party release. β†’ Trade Contract

6

Settle & complete. Atomic swap (crypto) or simultaneous transfer (everything else). Then file a free Funding Assignment to record the received asset in the receiving trust.

🎯 "I have X, I want Y" β€” exact steps for your trade

Pick what you have and what you want. The Trade Center shows the settlement method, the cost, and the exact steps for both sides.

πŸ”— Crypto β†’ atomic swap (instant, lossless, free)

Two crypto assets settle atomically: either both sides transfer or neither does. No escrow, no counterparty risk, $0. Three easy paths below β€” pick the one that fits your assets. The secret/hash tool works for all of them.

3 easy paths β€” no hand-crafted transactions

⚑ Lightning (Bitcoin)

BTC↔BTC and BTC payments. Already HTLC under the hood β€” instant, ~1-sat fees, years of production use. Use any Lightning wallet.

πŸ” THORChain / AtomicDEX (cross-chain)

BTC↔ETH↔LTC↔DOGE and more. Non-custodial, one-click β€” they handle the HTLC timelock math so you can't botch it.

πŸ“œ Our ERC-20 swap contract (same-chain)

Two ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum / Polygon / any EVM chain β€” approve + fund, then complete with the secret. Fully atomic, auditable.

Guaranteed lossless in all three. The secret below is the common key: you lock with the hash, reveal the secret to claim your side, and that reveal lets the other party claim theirs β€” or everyone gets refunded by the timelock.

Step 1 β€” Generate your secret

An atomic swap uses a one-time secret. You lock your asset with the hash; revealing the secret claims the other side β€” so only the person who reveals the secret can claim, and revealing it automatically lets your counterparty claim yours. Either both settle, or neither does.

Step 2 β€” Lock both sides

Bitcoin (HTLC, BIP-199)

Create an HTLC output: pay to your counterparty's key if they reveal the secret (hash), or refund to you after 48h. Your wallet signs this transaction locally β€” keys never leave your device.

Ethereum (HTLC contract)

Deploy or call a standard HTLC contract with the same hash and a shorter timelock (24h). Deposit your side into the contract.

Step 3 β€” Claim & verify (the atomic moment)

1

You reveal the secret to claim the other side's asset.

2

Your counterparty sees the secret on-chain and uses it to claim your asset.

3

Both sides now settled β€” or, if anyone abandons, the timelock refunds everyone automatically.

πŸ’° Settlement cost β€” you almost never pay

The "no first-mover risk" guarantee comes from simultaneity, not a paid middleman. Only real estate strictly needs a licensed escrow β€” and its fees are proportionate to a high-value asset.

🏦 Escrow β€” for remote, non-crypto trades (optional)

Crypto never needs escrow (atomic swap is strictly better β€” trustless and free). But if you're trading a car, gold, business interest, or collectible with someone you can't meet in person, a licensed escrow removes the "who goes first" risk. It's member-chosen β€” AEON does not operate or endorse any escrow.

When to use it

Parties in different cities Β· first-time counterparties Β· high-value trades where neither wants to move first.

How it works

Both sides deposit into a licensed escrow β†’ the escrow verifies both β†’ on both parties' instruction, releases both simultaneously. Nothing is released until both sides are secured.

Who provides it

Licensed title/escrow companies (real estate, vehicles) Β· state-regulated escrow agents (general property) Β· depository escrow (metals).

⚠️ Anti-fake-escrow (critical): "escrow fraud" β€” fake escrow sites β€” is a known scam. Before sending anything, verify the escrow's license number with your state regulator, confirm its physical address, and confirm it's bonded/insured. Never use an escrow the other party insists on without verifying it yourself. A real escrow has a verifiable license β€” a fake one doesn't.
βš–οΈ Liability: AEON does not operate, select, recommend, or endorse any escrow. Members choose their own licensed escrow and are responsible for verifying it. AEON is not a party to any escrow arrangement. If you can meet in person, simultaneous transfer is free and avoids escrow entirely.

πŸ›‘οΈ Bulletproof β€” anti-fraud & zero liability

πŸ”Ž Anti-fraud verification

A document is never accepted at face value. AEON confirms each asset with the issuing authority β€” broker confirms the shares, depository confirms the serial numbers, county recorder confirms the deed, DMV confirms the title. Crypto is verified on-chain automatically.

βš–οΈ AEON is not a party

Every trade is strictly member-to-member. AEON never holds assets or funds, never acts as broker/custodian/escrow/advisor, and takes no liability for any trade outcome. Both parties release AEON in the contract (Article X). Full terms: Terms of Service.

AEON is an educational publisher and private-membership venue. Trading involves risk, including the risk of loss. AEON is not a broker, custodian, escrow, exchange, trustee, or money transmitter. Member-to-member transactions are at each member's own risk.
